- Get your kids in the garden! Learn about vegetables, fruits, flowers – whatever they’re into! It’s pretty neat to watch things grow
- Visit a local museum or science center
- Plan a road trip to a national park or famous science museum
- Download an awesome app for outdoor fun
- Who doesn’t love bottle rockets?
- Make slime
- Make magnetic slime
- Edible play-dough!
- Make your own bird feeder and watch which birds (or other animals!) come for it
- Wow your kids with really big bubbles
- Create a levitating ball
- Toast marshmallows in your own solar oven
- Create a robot that colors for you
- Start a blog documenting your science adventures!
- Search for a science camp in your area (did you know they had those?)
- Have your kids to do the cooking (this could be a win-win 😉
- Learn about constellations, and then try to identify them at night
- Experiment with different homemade non-toxic mosquito-repellent solutions
