A root canal treatment can generally be completed in just one visit to our dental office. After numbing the area with local anesthesia, we will open the tooth and remove all of the damaged tooth enamel and infected dental pulp. Once the inside of your tooth has been sanitized, we will fill it with a medicated, rubber-like material that restores the integrity of your original tooth structure.
